Wayne J. Puglia
Wayne has extensive background in new product development, innovation, and entrepreneurship and has led the commercialization of over $1 billion of new products. He led Product, Packaging, Process development and Quality at Life Savers, Planters, and Nabisco, identifying technology and commercializing products such as Icebreakers Gum and Mints. At Kraft Foods he led the Corporate Innovation function instituting global innovation events, training creativity, leading Psychological Science, and then curating Kraft’s venture capital investment strategy in the Bay Area for emerging health and wellness new technologies. Most recently he served as Chief Technology Officer for Godiva Chocolatier and as a member of the Leadership team. He is currently an adjunct Professor of Innovation and an Entrepreneur In Residence at Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey. Wayne resides in New York, earned a BS in Biology and MBA in International Marketing at St. John’s University/NY and is currently pursuing an Ed.D. in Organizational Change and Leadership through the University of Southern California’s Rossier School of Education.
