Natalie Pantaleo – Community Partner

Natalie is a marketing-communications director who builds relationships and centers her approach on collaboration. Experienced in the healthcare, finance, and retail industries, she’s led departments at First Penn Bank, Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union (FMFCU), DSC Advertising, National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners (NBOME), and guided clients like New York’s Hudson Bread and Los Angeles-based Josie Maran Cosmetics.

Natalie’s extensive background includes strategic planning, development and direction of corporate communications, web, social, video, graphic design and special events. Earlier in her career, she launched and chaired Port Connection, a Leukemia and Lymphoma Society fundraiser that ran on the Philadelphia waterfront for ten years. At DSC, she helped double attendance at the annual Vendemmia wine-making festival using social media and storytelling through the development of a series of by-lined articles featuring local winemakers.

Adept at interpreting complex information, Natalie extrapolates meaning and develops targeted messaging. This skill was vital at NBOME in communicating high-stakes licensure exams to osteopathic medical schools and students. Natalie represented NBOME at conferences around the country.

Understanding the distinctive nature of positioning, Natalie created a positioning formula to assist clients. She’s helped companies such as Hudson Bread, Kaplan Leaman & Wolfe and Pinnacle Textile in branding. She has many success stories that include conducting a comprehensive communications audit for Josie Maran Cosmetics, writing, directing and launching video news at NBOME, exceeding ROIs and launching Choices B-to-C magazine at FMFCU, and garnering national press with campaigns like “HIPAA Proves Deadly for Temple University Student” while at DSC.

Natalie has an acute understanding of employee motivation and team-building, leveraged through her PhD studies in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. She works well with all levels of an organization and co-led a performance excellence team at NBOME. It is this people-centric philosophy that makes Natalie’s most recent foray into innovative problem-solving facilitation through SynecticsWorld® a natural pairing.

A LaSalle University honors grad, Natalie earned her M.A. in Bilingual/Bi-cultural Studies of Spanish and holds a B.A. in Journalism & Public Relations from Temple University. She’s joyfully served Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Half A Million Kids organization.

Natalie was born and raised in Philadelphia and currently resides with her family in a Philly suburb. She loves cooking and hosting dinners where table settings are as important as the tastiness of the food served on them. Natalie enjoys creative writing and hopes to publish an historical fiction novella in spring 2019.
