In 1961, William J.J. Gordon published “Synectics, the Development of Creative Capacity”, the result of years of experimentation by Bill Gordon, George Prince, Dick Sperry and Carl Marden in their pioneering work as the Invention Design Group at Arthur D. Little. In 1961, the team formed its own company, Synectics Inc, known today as Synecticsworld®.
In 2015, the book was republished by Synecticsworld® as a tribute to William J.J. Gordon’s seminal research on the theory of the creative process.
