I have just read Gordon and Prince’s books: the ‘Synectics’ (1961) and ‘The Practice of Creativit’ (1970). And now start to read your “The Innovator’s Handbook” (1989). I see the history of innovators training. Although these articles are publish more than two decades ago. You book allow me the chance to peep the works done on training of creativity thinking. In your book as well as the other two I gain deeper understand the relationship between and De Bono’s work, his ‘Lateral Thinking’.
The Synectors, in my opinion, similar to Chinese Mohist(墨家).
I have to say here that all of you have done a great work on history that no man have. I highly admire together with respect.
